Snickers is a sweet boy with long legs, about 10 lbs and 11 months old, that we rescued from Harbor Shelter before he was to be euthanized. He was brought to the shelter because his family had too many dogs. Snickers had never been on a leash or taken outside his home, so being at the shelter was very terrifying and confusing for this little guy. When Snickers was rescued, he was just skin and bones and clung to our volunteer for dear life, with his little head on her shoulder. But once in the car, he let out a sigh relief and went to sleep... zzzz.
Snickers is now safe and getting TLC in his temporary foster home. He is learning that the outside world is not a bad place and can be filled with good experiences. Snickers is well-behaved and a good listener, gets along with other dogs, travels well in the car, and is looking for someone to give him love. We expect to discover more great things about Snickers as he comes out of his shell and blossoms into a fabulous dog. Check out his video!
