Kim Rosen’s gift of speaking the poems of ancient and modern writers has opened thousands to poetry’s power to awaken and transform individuals and communities. She reveals that poetry is our first language: the language of the soul, the most ancient vessel of prayer and revelation. Gary Malkin, who recently moved to Ojai, is a master composer and pianist. His music fuses the power of meditation with the beauty of a gorgeous film soundtrack. Michael Fitzpatrick, the cellist who has been performing around the world with the Dalai Lama for many years, brings a classic quality to the evening that only the richness of the cello can provide.

This unique “trialogue” will immerse you in the spoken words of poets such as Pablo Neruda, Mary Oliver, Naomi Shihab Nye, Rumi and Rilke, all carried on a musical soundscape that utilizes the healing power of beauty and presence to bring us home to ourselves.
