EVENT INFORMATION

Beyond the Stage Productions presents Jonathan Larson's smash hit musical RENT!

We all know the story...based on Puccini's 'La Boheme', this rock opera tells the story of one year in the life of a group of bohemians struggling in modern day East Village New York. The story centers around Mark and Roger, two roommates. While a former tragedy has made Roger numb to life, Mark tries to capture it through his attempts to make a film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss, AIDS, and modern day life in one truly powerful story.

But did you know BTS is igniting a new conversation?

We are producing this show as a benefit for the Los Angeles HIV/AIDS charity The Stigma Project (www.thestigmaproject.org). This production will be a catalyst for the next conversation regarding HIV/AIDS. We aren't willing to keep silent about education, prevention, and community outreach in Los Angeles.
